BIS- MODEL UN CONFERENCE (BISMUN)

They are not just creating resolutions but as world leaders they are creating revolutions’ Presenting the vision of our Mentor Guru Honourable Dr. V.K Bhatnagar and Respected Director Ma’am Mrs Mamta V. Bhatnagar, Bhatnagar International School, Paschim Vihar, organises Intra-School Model UN Conference every year. BISMUN witnesses a Grand Opening Ceremony which is inaugurated with the interactions by the students of Class XI and XII, Cultural Patriotic Performance and Talk Show bringing out children’s respect and regard for the nation. The Secretary General, Director General and Under Secretary General share their thoughts regarding the issues to be taken up for the day’s discussion and declare it open. The IP Team manages to capture all the beautiful moments and bring them to life. The students of class 9 th tossed their textbooks aside to deliberate, debate and work conscientiously with the real-world issues and concerns. The event is a simulation of the United Nations and the Lok Sabha where the students enact as delegate ambassadors from UN member states and Parliamentarians from Lok Sabha to debate on variety of agendas ranging from Afghanistan Hunger Crisis to Covid Preparedness, From Prohibition of Child Marriage to Election Laws. With the student of class 11 th and 12 th taking the sole responsibility of the entire event, BISMUN indeed proves to be an enlightening and instructive experience for all student delegates. Students of Class IX prove their mettle for being the cream of Delegates and Parliamentarians and come out with flying colours and receive special mention. The Vote of Thanks is proposed by the Executive board members, who declare the BISMUN closed. BISMUN is an incredible learning experience for the students. It not only transform their world view but also provide them the choices to resolute the major decision making in various paths of life.
